Warm up this winter with a Rum Peppermint Hot Cocoa. Spiked with the perfect amount of holiday spice. One of the many perks at working for Captain Morgan is the "taste sampling" I get to do. You can mix it with, well basically everything.
This recipe is one of my favorites. Garnish hot cocoa with snowflake marshmallows and a candy cane to get into the true holiday spirit. Let me know what you think below and be sure to like this post!
- 1 packet of your favorite hot cocoa mix
- 1 cup of milk
- 1.5 oz. Captain Morgan© Original Spiced Rum
- Peppermint stick
With a snowflake shaped cookie cutter, Press into marshmallows to create festive garnish.
Pour milk into a microwave-safe mug, and microwave on high for about 2 minutes, or just until hot. Add cocoa powder and stir to dissolve. Add 1.5 oz. Captain Morgan© Original Spiced Rum and mix well. Garnish with snowflake marshmallows and a peppermint stick.
